Park View Hospital is a B+G+ 10 storeyed healthcare facility in the dense urban fabric of Salt Lake, Kolkata. The hospital accommodates 77 beds and includes three operation theatres—one major and two minor. Its front façade features an extensive glass surface opening toward an adjacent public park, offering patients, especially those in long-term or chemotherapy care, a sense of visual relief and connection with greenery. Structurally, the hospital follows a column-free design that allows flexible space planning within the limited 2,200 sq.ft. floor plate, achieved after providing a 4.5 m setback on all sides. The service core efficiently integrates 20 utility rooms to support daily operations. Initially limited to nine floors due to Airport Authority height restrictions, the building was later extended to an additional floor—balancing regulatory constraints with functional and architectural efficiency.
