The 200 years-old Hanuman temple also known as Gol Mandir, located in south Kolkata, has a lot of religious importance. It is situated in the heart of Kolkata at the center of junction of three roads namely the Gokhle Road running in North-South & Sambhunath Pandit Street on East-West. The junction being in the heart of the city is very crowded and this temple has a massive footfall. But with due age, the temple lost its structural stability & functionality and its formation receded present demand. Thus, the temple trust realized the need for the temples revival.
