Situated behind Acropolis Mall along the EM Bypass, the Haemophilia Society building is located within a dense residential neighbourhood. The project forms part of a rehabilitation initiative, replacing an old structure that was demolished during road expansion. The new G+2 facility functions as a specialized medical and research centre for patients with thalassemia and haemophilia. The ground floor houses the OPD, research laboratories, and blood transmission and transfusion rooms, while the upper floors accommodate administrative and ancillary functions. The facade, featuring an expressive brick relief pattern inspired by the waveform of an electrocardiograph, symbolizes the fragility of human life. Designed as a cost-effective day-care centre for economically disadvantaged patients, the building uses simple, durable materials and minimal openings to control glare, reduce dust, and maintain a clean indoor environment suitable for medical use.
