Viveka Tirtha is a five-acre institutional campus inspired by Swami Vivekananda’s historic 1893 speech at the Art Institute of Chicago. At its heart stands the Art Institute building, housing an 1100-seat auditorium designed for talks, cultural programs, and spiritual gatherings. Though four storeys tall, it is articulated to appear as a two-storey volume, maintaining harmony with the surrounding low-rise campus.

Complementing the central structure are buildings for meditation, yoga, human excellence, and residential facilities for monks, faculty, and students—arranged to encourage reflection and interaction. The architecture follows a restrained material palette and muted tones that echo the Chunar stone of the auditorium. Subtle detailing, vertical grooves, and handcrafted jalis define the facades, creating a serene environment that embodies the discipline, humility, and contemplative spirit at the heart of the institution.
